Zodiac Bling

That other big-screened game player, the Zodiac, now has it's own bling-worthy case. Sure the PDA-gaming device doesn't get a solid gold sleeve studded with diamonds, but you can actually afford this one. The Metal Deluxe Case for the Zodiac costs a mere $30 and allows you to play your game, in-case. You can also use it to bash a few gold PSP owners in the head and jack their bling without dinging your Zodiac. More »

First Look: The New Lara Croft

I was leafing through the May issue of PSM (WTF May, it's not even April yet!) and I came across an article on the upcoming Tomb Raider: Legend. The Most noticeable thing about the game is that Lara Croft has once more been transformed. You guessed, she's had some more breast reduction surgery. On a positive note, she does look more like a real woman than a pistol-packing Barbie. Ummm, maybe that's not so positive. More »

Trade: Loaded Gun for Xbox

A 9-year-old boy from Kansas is in huge shit after stealing a revolver from his granddad's closet, loading it with bullets and then offering to trade it to a friend for his Xbox. The trade never happened because the second 9-year-old tipped his mom off before the deal went down. Police found the loaded .38-caliber handgun in the first 9-year-old's backpack. More »

Downloadable Demos Coming to Xbox 360? The Xbox 360 will feature tons of downloadable game demos starting launch day, according to rumor-mongering Spong. Funny, that was one of the things that topped Game Over's wishlist for Xbox 360 two weeks ago.

Advance Wars DS Bound

The next Advanced Wars, this one designed for the Nintendo DS, is set for a June 23 release in Japan under the name of Famicom Wars DS. The game is being developed by Intelligent Systems, best known for the excellent GameCube title Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. Advanced Wars DS should hit the U.S. on Oct. 9. I can't wait. Mario Walks the Walk

Mario delivered a petition to Hollywood Wednesday asking that video game characters be introduced to the Walk of Fame. Mario tooled up to the event in a red convertible, drawing nary a side glance from Hollywood's I'm-too-important-to-notice-a-giant-cartoon-headed-plumber crowd. He was greeted by a gaggle of sign toting gamer fans and then handed over the petition to the honorary Hollywood mayor. Ads also ran in Hollywood trade magazines Wednesday, to get the word out on the idea. Before jetting, Mario made a brief statement. More »

Eight Foot NES Controller

G4 TV's Attack of the Show folks tore out the guts of an NES controller and then stuffed them into a gigantor replica. The end result is a 8-foot controller that requires two people to play games. The best part of the video is watching the two guys trying to make it through the first level of Super Mario Brothers with on handling the jumping and the other on left/right. More »

Hack: Play Gran Turismo 4 Online

Games Radar has a walk through of how to trick your Playtation 2 into letting you play Gran Turismo 4 on the Internet. To get this to work you need a PS2 network adaptor, a copy of the game, a PC with a broadband connection and an ehternet router. I'll let Games Radar walk you through all of the minutia, but I will say that the end result isn't as pleasant as you would expect. Appareantly, GT4 Online is quite jerky, mostly because the screen's redraw is dependent on network speed. I suppose there was a reason Sony released the game as an offline racer only. More »

Microsoft Stops Making Xboxes?

Is the Xbox going the way of my sanity? The ever reliable Spong is quoting their favorite type of source, the anonymous one, saying that Microsoft hopes to rid stores of the Xbox in coming months. Retailers are being asked not to list the Xbox in any future catalogs. Spong goes on to say that there are only two million Xboxes left in the world and no more will be produced. More »

Gutting Your PSP

Say it ain't so. Some techie loon decided to eviscerate his Playstation Portable and document it! Besides deciding that it's a well put-together device, Seth Fogie didn't seem to get a lot out of his experience, besides the fun of going wrist deep in Sony guts. I think I'll pass.
