PS3 Boomerang Controller Instructional Video

Cannibalism IS a Threat to America's Youth!

Seriously, why is garbage like this seeing the light of day? No, not the AP piece itself, but the story of video game critics taking aim at cannibalism in gaming. Apparently gorging on some player-character or NPC's flesh in a game now really chaps the National Institute on Media and Family's ass. Stubbs the Zombie isn't a threat to the youth of America, bad parents and irresponsible adults blaming gaming companies for their shortfalls as people are. More »

DFC Intelligence: The 'Quiet Revolution' of NiWiFi

We mentioned that the DFC looked at Nintendo's WiFi in their latest report, and their review of it was pretty positive. Similar to what they said about Xbox Live and the 360's Marketplace, DFC champions the ease of use for the DS. I can attest to its ease, having hooked it up in my own primitive, janky, WiFi-less apartment abode. DFC Intelligence points to the out-of-the-box connectivity as the separation between it and any other console's online capability out of the box. Their analogy: "The PSP we would compare to programming a VCR to record, the DS is more like turning on the television set and playing a movie." More »

Xbox 360 Shirt Offers Tips for Overheating Systems

No, it's not too soon to make light of the 360's overheating issues. So a t-shirt maker already did. I am embarassed to say, however, when I think of the shirt's slogan "Cool It Down," the only thing I hear in my head is New Edition singing "Cool It, Now." More »

Maid in Japan Maid

Feel the Maids

Livedoor Blogs is hosting an "I love maids" fetish site that is clearly taking visual pointers from either Apple's iPod ads or Sega's Feel the Magic. I can't figure out which. The site's got pics of maids with Gundam figurines and of maids wearing medieval body armor. Can't figure that out either. More »
