Yes I do know what a GD rom was/is, here in the UK everything was burnt already, broadband was a very expensive rarity as a service here in Britain. Copies of copies floated round here... thats what I was referring too...
But I admit I was wrong, turns out the ripping tools came out long after the DC died...
Was aware that some games needed to be compressed in order for fit a cd-rom, assumed the ripping tool was used, seems like the old ways of getting a rom were a bit more complex...
As for speaking out my ass, no I am very knowledgeable about the games industry, as stated in the same post... The Dreamcast inspired me to do my degree in games design...

I keep forgetting to check my profile for messages. I heard of NeoDS, but I dont have the homebrew stuff to get it on my DS. Is it a whole new emu or is it NeoPop transferred to the DS?

As for the 360 invite... I'll definitely be adding you! I haven't actually been using it lately because I've been playing catch-up on old PS2 and PC games lately.
I'm sure that'll change very soon as the fall/winter releases start coming around, though.

When I saw the thumbnailed version of your avatar, I mistook it for some kind of fish.
I now see it is a squirrel with a chainsaw. Which makes it much cooler than I previously gave it credit for.
